Well Inspections

Well Inspection: What is included?

A Well Inspection includes all accessible parts of the well system including the casing, cap, wiring, static water level, manifold, plumbing, switches, pressure tank and treatment system.

We also test and report Functional Flow as required for many FHA, VA and USDA loan underwriters.

Well Flow Test: What is it?

A Well Flow Test is a test of the well and system for fitness for daily use. Think of it as a test drive for the well. We offer two tests.

Our "County Flow Test". Water is run by hose at 4 gallons per minute for 480 gallons/2 hours. The system and well is monitored for malfunction or reduced flow. This test is the standard for Chester County Pennsylvania but can be performed anywhere.

We also offer a less expensive "Value Flow Test". This is a shorter 30 minute test at a higher flow rate. Consider this a test drive to mimic peak demand, such as washing your car for an extended time or filling a small kids swimming pool. We take care not to over drive the system beyond its design.

Water Tests: Which one do I need?

Knowing what is in your water and the quality is useful, for health safety, function and aesthetics. This is the best way to know if a Treatment System is functioning correctly or if further treatment is needed.

We offer three typical levels of testing. These are based on the mortgage underwriting that may require them.

  • “Conventional Loan” - 11 parameters. Most common.

  • “Non-Conventional Loan - FHA/VA/USDA” - 11 parameters, plus 5 additional

  • “Non-Conventional plus VOC’s” - 16 parameters, plus VOC group
